The American Idol style competition KC Superstar held their semifinals on Monday, June 1st. Out of the 24 high schoolers competing to move onto the finals, only 10 were selected to move on. Kate Cosentino earned a place in the top ten singing Don't Know Why by Norah Jones. Cheer her on at the finals August 23rd at Johnson County Community College 7pm.
